Today, during Summer Game Fest, Uncapped Games–a new California-based studio made up of developers with real-time strategy experience–announced Battle Aces, an RTS that promises a full RTS experience in less time than it takes to eat a meal.

This new approach to RTS introduces a “Unit Deck” system, where players can preset a loadout of units and bases before dropping to battle. Over 50 units will be available to choose from at launch later this year, while 40 of them will be available in the upcoming closed beta test.
